Recognized Excellence

She is a recipient of three prestigious awards: Lifetime Award of Excellence, Medallion Club Lifetime Member, and the Diamond Award.

Since she immigrated to Richmond over 40 years ago, Eleanor has been a committed volunteer in her community. On Mondays, Eleanor volunteers at her church, Richmond Presbyterian Church Community Meal. Together with many church members, they package take-out meals and deliver to the homeless and homebound residents.

During the winter of 2005 to 2014, she collected an average of 135 bags a year filled with blankets and sweaters for the homeless living in Vancouver's Downtown Eastside.

Eleanor continues to support local non-profit organizations that serve newcomers to Canada, promote art and culture, and mental wellness. Eleanor considers it an honor to use her time, talent, and treasures for the betterment of the community.
